about three years ago at my makeup school i used an exfoliator which could be applyed to dry skin and then wiped off.

It was fantastic but i cant remember the name or company who made it

Does anyone know what im talking about?

Hi Welcome to MUT! I don't believe we've met. I'm not familiar with any exfoliators for use on dry skin, but we have quite a few skincare gurus here who might be able to help!

Ladies?

wow, i've never even heard of that, but it sounds great. sorry i can't help! hope someone else knows.

Do you mean like a AHA/BHA mask? You put it on dry skin, wait around 10 minutes or so and then wipe off? Dermalogica have one

I had an exfoliator from Decleor that was applied to dry skin and then rubbed off. Was absolutely gorgeous - left my skin so damn soft and smooth. Don't know if they still make it - i only bought it a few times.
