Whitening Toothpaste

I used to smoke heavily and drink 1-2 coffees a day.

As a result, obviously my teeth gradually went a few shades darker than I would like them to be.

I've been using Pearl Drops Whitening Toothpaste and although it's definatley made my teeth a few shades whiter, I've found it's not doing much more than that no matter how often I brush using the same or different variations of the brand.

I'm thinking perhaps I might need to go and get them professionally whitened at the Dentist etc.

They're not horifically discoloured but I'd do anything for a movie star smile

So, before I head off to spend hundreds on a procedure I might not need, can anyone recommend a Whitening Toothpaste / Whitening Kit etc they use / have used at home that has given drastic results?

I've heard Rembrandt, Supersmile and Go Smile are good, but I'd rather hear your personal experiences than purchase a product based on speculation.
