I take tremendous pride in having thick, lush, shiney hair. As much as I love the shine, I've really been trying to stay clear of silicones - the buildup can be damaging unless you use a clarifying shampoo probably weekly, and since I color my hair, I do NOT want to use a clarifying shampoo. The problem is getting the shine without the 'cones.

Enter this stuff. OMG it is awesome. I wrote a review of it for the review page, but since I'm not sure how many people read the reviews, I just had to give people here a heads up. It is called Rapunzel hair conditioner and it's made by Go Bare Skincare. My Whole Foods Market carries it, but since they hardly ever have it, I get it online from the Go Bare Skincare website (where it's cheaper anyway

). I'll post the ingredients here so you can see them. I swear the stuff looks almost edible. Lovely fragrance (it doesn't linger, but it makes washing my hair a nice experience), great manageability and shine, without weighing my hair down. Definitely worth checking out.

Ingredients: Spring Water (Aqua), Dead Sea Water (Maris Aqua), Silt (Maris Luma or Dead Sea Mud), Magnesium Chloride, Chamomila Recutita (Chamomile) extract, Simmondsia Chinesis (Jojoba) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Calendula Officinalus (English Marigold - Antioxidant and Antiseptic) Oil, Daucus Carota (Carrot) Seed Oil, Daucus Carota (Carrot Juice), Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Juice, Ipomoera Batatas (Sweet Potato) Extract, Cu***is Melo (Melon) Extract,, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Honey (Mel) Extract, Fragrance, Triti*** Vulgare (Wheat Germ) Oil, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Cetrimonuim Chloride, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Peel Extract

No I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I read about them on a skincare board and, since they aren't very well known, I've been talking them up.

I also got a similar question from a moderator.

I thought I was being helpful by talking about a line that doesn't do a whole lot of advertising, but has some great items in it.

If that's a problem, I'll just keep my mouth shut.

That is what this place is about, but when one person repeatedly mentions one company over and over it gets suspicious.

i shall have to check it out once i run out of conditioner again.... which will probaobly notbe for another few months.

also i understand the obsession with brands i get that way with brands for a while. like i used to be obsessed with bobbie brown, than mac, than aveda. currently it is make up forever but since i am on a no buy that obsession is waining
