What's the best spot treatment?

whenever i break out a get a ppimple, i use neutrogena advanced defense lotion and it helps a bit. Sometimes i use bye bye blemish drying lotion. What is the best spot treatment for emergencys? Is murads spot treatment good? ty.

i dab a little bit of my glycolic peel solution on it with a q-tip and let it sit for 10 minutes, wash off, and by morning its gone or reduced significantly.

u could try something from clearasil.

i would suggest a visit to a dermatologist

I've used Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment, and it works okay. It seems to make me flake though. MK Blemish Toner works WONDERS for me! The zit is generally gone in a day or two!

Some Treatments that i've tried and can rec is:

1. Clean and Clear Persagel (drugstore - Pro:works fast,cheap, Con

ries out skin, but nothing a lil moisturizer can't fix)

2. Tea Tree Oil (u can get it @ your local health store, works great, but does have a smell that u either love or hate, i don't mind it .. but b/f does

, Cons: dries out skin )

3.Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar (health store. Pro: works, Con: smells worse than reg vinegar )

4. Calamine Lotion (d/s like walgreens, rec by anne7 on this board. Pros: it realli works !! and no smell!! )

I discovered last night that I had quite a sizable breakout starting on my cheeks and forehead so I washed my face with Got2b In Your Face Pore Me Deep Scrub and then applied a thin layer of Neutrogena On The Spot Acne Treatment - when I woke up this morning I noticed that almost all of the acne had either sizably reduced or completely vanished.

I also love tea tree oil as a spot treatment. It's natural but helps get rid of any pimples in no time. In fact, im buying some more today for sure.
