2 Days ago I was just lying in the sun, It wasnt real hot and I dont usually catch the sun around here as its not as hot as when you go on holiday, Well seems Im wrong I caught the sun bad! I didnt use any sun cream and I have sun burn on me, the worse is my stomach its really red.

Is there anything thats I can use that would take away the redness or the pain of when I catch it

I used to take an ice cold milk bath=) It really helped with the stinging of my sunburn.

Yes, that`s one of well known and well proven by many generations recepies that always work . A sour cream or just a yogurt applied on skin immediately after the sunburn are also fine for the same purpose. Or, you may take Aloe Vera cream(only look for the special cooling formula which is specifically intended against sunburns).

Just, pls, don`t forget your sun cream the next time you go out!

It`s really pretty dangerous hanging out without any. (at least, here, in Israel)

I like a mix of solarcain and aloe, its a spray stuff that is always cold.

My family has always used vinegar. We always use it the first day, so not sure how a couple day old sunburn would be. But the vinegar stings a tiny tad and is stinky, but I have never hurt the next day or peeled. New members to our family always laugh at me....until they are hurting and decide to finally try. Does the trick for me.

I have never tried this, but a lady told my sister this when she had a bad sunburn. She said to use the Paul Mitchell Awapui Spray Gel. She said she has been using it for years and it really helps. It has aloe and stuff in it. So that is a suggestion. A girl at a salon said she had heard that too, so I guess it is worth a shot. You might even be able to get the "generic" or Sally's brand. I would assume the ingredients would be pretty similar. Otherwise I would say solarcain.

sunburn cream? i'm never going out without one tube in my bag. aloe vera gel, and the milk bath are good too.

I buy Aloe Vera gel in a bottle with Lidocaine (a pain reliever). Best I've ever tried. They usually keep it in the section with the tanning lotions, etc.

Noxema, is the best thing for sunburn, a looooooong time ago an aunt fell asleep white tanning and had such a bad sunburn her own dermatologist recomended Noxema, hope it helps!!

I always use Aloe extract or just take a piece of Aloe plant and mush it up and smear it around.... works great...
