What kind of sleeper are you?

Do you toss and turn? Talk or Walk? Hog blankets?

I was curious...what kind of sleeper are you, or what have people told you?

Me...I was a chronic Sleepwalker and Sleeptalker. When I was a child my parents had to put a bell on my bedroom door because I would sleepwalk ouot of my room, unnlock the door and walk out of the house. It was pretty bad. They actually found me down the street!! My sleeptalking has gotten me in trouble before and I am always afraid what I might say. In my last relationship I used to talk about my first love all the time. My Ex would get soooo pissed. It was awful because I couldn't control it.

Even though I sleep alone most of the time. I always sleep one one side of the bed. I don't move around a lot. I sleep on my stomach and I sleep like the dead. I literally slept through a tornado one time. I can't stand having anything covering me or touching me, but will sleep with a sheet on me sometimes.... and oh I have to have 2 pillows.

i sleep on my stomach, and put my arms under my pillow. i move a lot, which is annoying my cat (sleeping at my feet). i may have trouble falling asleep, but when i am sleeping, you can do whatever you want. a bomb would explode i wouldn't even notice it. and it's nothing compared to my childhood, it was worrying my parents sometimes.

as a baby i used to sleep during the day (vampire ancestors? lol).

I sleep on my back, with legs and arms intertwined with my husband. It usually takes me 20-30 seconds before I fall asleep and its only because of an alarm clock that i wake on time for anything..

I need it to be completely (!) dark and quiet so I can sleep. It usually takes me a while to go to sleep, and I constantly turn around and switch positions while I sleep, during which I sometimes wake up.

I also have to get up and pee at least once or twice each night, which is kinda annoying but I`m used to it.

I also talk in my sleep, but it´s nothing that´s clearly understandable, it´s just jibberish.

I, like Andi, have to have the room completely quiet and dark to sleep. I sleep mostly on my back and I have to have my hands on my chest or they fall asleep.

OOhhh, what a fun thread. Here is how I sleep......

1. I ALWAYS sleep naked. I do not make exceptions for company either. If you don't like my nakedness, you can sleep on the couch.

2. I have been told that I resemble a swastika when I sleep with my arms and legs all over the place.

3. I like to have two pillows

4. I like to be covered by a sheet and a comforter/blanket, and I like my feet to be hanging out of the covers so I don't get too hot.

5. I have to have a fan blowing on me. I love it!

I like it cold and even when alone I like to sleep on one side. I also like the bed facing the wall if I'm alone and the bed is smaller than a queen.

It takes me a long time to fall asleep. I have to be warm, and can't have the air or a fan blowing on me. lol. I used to have a waterbed and set it at 95 degrees. This is in FLORIDA, mind you. lol.

Once I fall asleep, I don't move and barely breathe at all. My friends have said I look like I'm dead. I sleep on my side unless I'm REALLY tired. Then I somehow always end up on my back.

Otherwise when I do get to sleep, I prefer never to sleep on my back.

I am a very light sleeper, it has to be dark and quiet and I wake up to any sudden sound in the house. I can't fall asleep on my back, I have to be on my side or my stomach. I also need a big pillow (or my husbands shoulder

). i mostly do toss and turn unless I am really tired then I am out cold till morning. I hardly ever get up to pee at night but I am usually awakend by my 3 year old crawling into our bed around 4 in the morning.

Well I have to add that I am the total opposite. I have to have it cool. I HAVE to have a fan on me. Also even though you could beat me to death and I would never wake up once I am asleep, it takes me at least 2 hours to fall asleep. It's very annoying. Oh and if you read my profile, I have to have lots of alarms to wake me.

I'm a light sleeper, I can't sleep with my door open or just anywhere, i.e, if peeps are walking through the living room, I can't sleep. I have a King size bed and sleep right in the middle.

When I'm not alone, I love to spoon or be spooned or lie on top.

I too need a fan in my room, for the cool air but also for the constant sound it makes. It helps me go to sleep. I sleep on my side, quite deeply and tend to be quite rude if I woken up :-S Also I cant sleep without my teddy bear despite being 20..

That sounds like me! I still remember how my bfs and friends were concerned to see me sleeping SO frozen. I have really low blood pressure and wonder if they connected.

BeneBaby, what kind of treatment did you have cure it? sorry that you suffered.

well i am usually a light sleeper unless i am very tired then i will sleep without feeling anything. i love to sleep on my stomach and hug the pillow but since my cat started sleeping with me i started sleeping on my side because she likes to sleep next to my stomach. i like it when it warm and i am also a blanket hog.

I like to hog the bed. Spread all over. I've gotten better though.
