With warm weather fast approaching (in the US) I was wondering what everyone uses in the unfortunate event they get minor sunburn. Even with all the precautions and judgements we make, it can still happen. Share your favorite sunburn rememdies and relief here.

My HG product is called KoolDown, which can be used for all different types of burn relief. I use the cream, which contains topical lidocaine, aloe, exotic oils and more.

My all time fave is Calendula lotion by Boiron. It's the best stuff i've found for immediate relief and it takes the redness/burn away quickly. I fell asleep on the beach in Mexico once and woke with the worst burn i've ever had. I was in so much pain and couldn't sleep because even the sheets hurt against me. I drenched my skin with the calendula and put it on many times through the night, keeping my skin moist. I really think it's what kept me from peeling. I usually have a few bottles of it around the house during the Summer. Can't live without it!

My poor skin knows two colors - white as a ghost or red like a lobster!!

To get rid of the burn/stink I use white vinegar on a cool cloth compress. You will end up smelling like a salad for a day but it cools the burn really well.

Then the next day I swear by either pure aloe or Shea's Coco Butter cream. I usually use one half the day and then the other the second half of the day.

and if you can get your hands on some Silvadene cream ..that is wonderful stuff..It's by prescription only..but if you are very fair..you can the prescription easily.
