I don't know if you know about Yves Rocher's brand but moisturiser from it are GREAT and cheap :icon_wink !! But if you want to pay a little bit more there's really good moisturiser made by Avene (The one I tested was Hydrience, well that's the french name) and Aquasource Non Stop from Biotherm is really great! And also, if you have a dry skin, make sure you drink a lot of water, I tough this doesn't work but since I drink a lot of water my skin is less dry!! You should also never wash your face with too hot water or too cold... I hope this is going to help you!

i use philosophy hope in a jar moisturizer... is that what your referring to? it is not a heavy moisturizer at all. i use it during the day & even then i sometimes need something a little heavier on certain areas (it being winter also). it works great during summer tho!!! at night i use plain ceatphil but i am looking for something.

I have dry skin and use Dermalogica's Intense Moisture Balance. It works really well and is not greasy.

I have very dry skin. I exfoliate and use a moisturizer from Neutrogena.

every winter my skin get super dry. on my body it's easy because I can just slather on some nivea cream and be done, but my face is so sensitive. However, I think I have finally found an HG moisturizer for my super dry skin; it's C.O. Bigelow "incredibly moisturizing face cream". It's very light, and non-acnegenic, but a teeny tiny amount turned my skin from sand paper texture to softer than I ever remember it in 1 application. It isn't at all greasy either. As someone else pointed out exfoliation is critial too, and I love C.O. Bigelow honey + oatmeal face scrub because it doesn't strip your skin and you only need a small amount of product. I also use Eucerin gentle hydrating cleanser AM + PM.

I absolutely love Alba Botanica's Hawaiian Aloe and Green Tea Oil-Free Moisturizer. It contains hyaluronic acid and it's the only product that helped me battle several months of dry and flaky skin!

i love cocoa butter! it comes in diff. forms in lotions you just have to get the real stuff, also use a body wash that moisturizes.

It depends for which body part you are asking for. I use Dermalogica for face, and neck, and Vasaline, Nivea for the rest of my body...

For my body I use either

Neutrogena Light Sesame Body Lotion

or

Hoof and Mane or Hoof and Tail Cream ( I forget the name ) :icon_redf

I love those two formulas.

I have been having a real problem with the skin on my face lately. It has been extremely dry and flaky...ick, and I have oily skin normally. I did two things. 1) Went out and bought Oil of Olay Hydrating Cream Moisturizer, and 2) I put a humidifer in my bedroom.

The moisturizer turned by skin so soft in one application. It also doesn't feel dry or itchy anymore and it doesn't leave a greasy feel. Also, since I spend 8 hours a day sleeping I can't go wrong with the humidifier. My house is very warm and dry so this helps a lot!

Good luck! :icon_chee

Recently I began using Dermalogica's Intense Moisture Balance. I think it is ideal for dry skin that is also acne prone--it never breaks me out.

Anyone with very dry skin would appreciate Elizabeth Grant's am & pm serums. Its difficult to go back to other skin care lines, once you've tried these. Check her products out at shop at home.

Calendula cream(Health food store), Nivea CoQ10 and Curel(unscented) are the best for me for my face. Body I like Body Butter(TBS), Aveeno and Kiss my Face Alpha and Aloe.

Climate Control by SeneGence works great on the trouble spots, especially if you are extra dry in the summer.
