and you've actually SEEN a definite difference? Mine are pretty well known tips in the beauty/health community, but, hey, some things are easier said than done!1. Washing makeup off my face before bed EVERY night. I moved recently & noticed my skin has been getting unbearably dry and breakouts are far more common than ever before. (Moving up north explained the dryness, but not so much the breakouts). Then I realized, I haven't been washing my face. I started washing my face every night and right away I noticed a difference. My skin is a bit smoother and my breakouts are calming down.2. Washing my hair every other day, NO exceptions. "washing your hair everyday is the worst thing you can do to your hair" Who hasn't heard this before, right? I have fairly thin blonde hair, and it gets dirty within about 24 hours and its noticeable. All my life, I've washed my hair EVERYDAY because I can't stand the feeling of oily hair. But finally, I decided I want to grow my hair our reallly long and one of the biggest things is not washing my everyday. So I took the plunge, and I started washing my hair every other day, longer if I can get away with it, about 2 months ago (right after my last trim/color). I usually use a little bit of dry shampoo on day 2... My hair has already grown about 2 inches since then (I can tell from my roots ;D). I'm so happy! I'm sure I have more, but this is going to look like a novel if I post them. So how about you? Have you made any changes in your daily routine that have been beneficial? Anything you've tried but haven't seen any difference?

I have long, fine hair too, and a greasy scalp. I would love to wash my hair every day if it didn´t take that long to dry & make it look decent. And I just have to blow dry, otherwise it looks very messy, so washing every day is a no go. I use dry shampoo on the 2nd day, and put my hair in a high ponytail.

The only daily regimen I recently started is to use an antioxidant serum at night (Paula´s Choice). But since it´s a preventative measure, it´ll be long until I see results (I´m hoping to have fewer wrinkles compared to women of the same age in the future).

Other effective regimens I have been using for a couple of years now: Retin-A, a 10% glycolic acid serum and chemical peels. I used to have a very uneven skintone before I started using these products/treatments, and now I´m so much happier with my skin!

I was doing everything right before (sunscreen, cleansing properly every night, using manual scrubs, brightening serums etc etc) but for some skin issues you need to go a step further if you want to see actual results.

My skin is turning into a mess because I've been neglecting it (too many late nights working, I'm a retail manager).  I'm going in for my first facial next week and starting peels because Andi and Divadoll inspired me!  I'm also going to get in the habit of washing off my makeup every single night.  So glad the late, late nights are soon over!

I use my DIY cleansing oil made with jojoba oil and castor oil to remove my makeup every night.  I massage the oils on my face and use a micro fibre face cloth to remove the oil with my makeup and repeat.  I apply the oils a 3rd time and remove that with my DIY witchhazel and rose water toner.  After this, my face is clean as clean can be.  I apply my facial moisturizer.  I have been doing this for more than a year now.  My face is clear of blemish and has normalized so no oiliness or dryness.
