Ok beofre any suggestions are given i'll start with telling you my likes and dislikes and what kind of hair i have.

My hair is dark blonde/light blonde. My skin is a light olive so I don't think I could pull of a super pale blonde so well. I never get my hair vcut past my shoulders, I have big cheeks and a babyface so I feel that hvaing short hair makes me look a bit, uh, chunky.

I almost always have it cut all one length across, and I am beginning to dislike it and think it looks weighted down and a bit old..I have been getting my hair cut like that forever because of...crappy hairstylists.

I know it is very difficult to give suggestions when you cannot see someone's hair in front of you but I think I may have a profile pic-there at least you can see the color of it.

I am open to any suggestions! I dyed my hair red-brown a month ago and it looked great, very "natural." It washed out in just a month! I was pinching pennies so i just had it done from a bottle and not by a hairstylist is probably why.

any suggestions?

thank you!

pecae and love

I think an auburn would look great on you!

You should another brand like Garnier 100% or Nutrisse... something that might make the color hold a little longer. Have you considered layers? They add movement & style without having to compromise length.

I always say color don't cut! Keep your length especially if you feel subconscious about going short. Layers bounce it up and add a lot of body while also lifting the load on you head. Look through hairstyle magazines and see if a color screams out at you. Also if you are going to go to a stylist make sure she is a pro at coloring and isn't too new. A lot of places like Regis for example have their stylists ranked according to how many classes they have taken to keep their skills up. Try and get a master stylist and if your color isn't lasting a long time make sure you are getting good products that are going to help keep and enhance your color so it stays longer. I love Redken's Color Extend line and the Kiwi Coloreflector line I just got Healthy Sexy Hair so I don't have an opinion on that yet but good products help keep good color. Good luck and be sure to post a pic with the new hair I can't wait to see!
