What brand of hair color do you recommend?

I need to color my hair. I'm going to have to do it myself because I can't afford to go to the hairstylist this time. What brand of hair color do ya'll use? The last time I did my own hair I was using Preference by Loreal.

What are your suggestions? Are they all pretty much the same?

I usually go to a beauty supply store such as Sally's and get the dye and developer there. You can buy a plastic applicator bottle and rubber gloves , and a good after color conditioner. It always turns out better and last longer than the box color. Plus, it ends up costing about the same. I just can't remember what brand I get from Sally's.

I've been using L'oreal Feria for a while now and am pleased with the results.

It depends what color... I like some colors by L'oreal Feria... I hate blond colors from it turns out bad /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> but the red and browns are good
