What are your best beauty tips for traveling & long flights? How do you look fresh after 14 hours on a plane?

Fly First or Business class.... Sleeping in a bed is so much nicer that being back in economy.....

Jackie said it. But since this is an international flight I also agree with Karren. Economy would have you so uncomfortable when you exit the plane it would show on your face. If it were domestic, I say fly economy, drink water, touch up when landed.

I've flown dozens of international flights and to tell you the truth... I look like a hot mess after each and everyone of them LOL drinking water is a good tip for sure! Wear something comfortable. Bring your toothbrush! Don't forget your blotting sheets and have a pair of socks in your purse (sometimes its freezing)!

light foundation, just enough blush, mascara, and some chapstick. That is all I need.

drink plenty of water before you travel and during the flight. Moisturizing mask the night before the flight. Try to get some sleep on the plane. light foundation, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss before you land at your destination.

I travel with a spritz bottle of evian... i was super stoked when they made them TSA friendly. I know its expensive, but it makes a difference to have a fine mist hydrate you and refresh your makeup, skin and your spirit.

OH- and a travel neck roll pillow.. not the inflatable kind, but a super awesome pillow grade plushy kind.

Instead of bringing the whole bottle of perfume bring those test ones, tuck everything in a plastic bag. I generally don't wear too much eyeshadow on the plane, just eyeliner etc. Great tips too, thnx xxx

Drink plenty of water bfore the flight (since bottles aren't allowed inside the plane

), lipbalm, a small tube of moisturizer, a small pack of mu remover wipes, sunscreen (to apply before you get there) and no makeup for me. I also pack a heavy book, crosswords and a pencil, and my beloved mp3 player

.

One of these u shaped travel pillows are nice, but be sure to test it before because some them can be really uncomfortable.

Me too! I love the Evian spray. I carry it for flights, I also like the aquafina one too.
As far as tips go, I just try to make myself as comfortable as I can, like packing a snack (cliff bars are my fav) and taking a couple packets of emergen-c with me. I don't like it when my lips get dry, so I make sure I take a lipbalm with me like rosebud salve or something, oh and hand sanitizer. Thats a must.

there are 4 main things i think that make a huge diffrence. A heavy moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. a good chap stick. drink LOTs of water (if you have to drink alchol on the plane stop early and drink water near the end to re0hydrate)

Also make sure you get up out of your seat and walk around occasionally

There are four things I would never get on a long-haul/international flight without:

1) Baby wipes: These can be used to wipe any sweat/smells away, give your skin a clean and refreshed feeling, and they just smell great!

2) Lipstick/Lip Stain: If you get a good, versatile shade of lipstick or a stain, it can be used for lip colour, blush and eyeshadow.

3) Disposable Toothbrush: These are those tooth brushes where toothpaste has been infused, or dried, on the bristles. All you do is wet them, and it's just like brushing with normal toothpaste. You can get them at dentists or pharmacies, I think.

4) Moisturiser: Hands down, I would never go anywhere without moisturiser. Hydrated skin is the best kind of skin.

Also, make sure to drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine or sugary drinks the day of, and before, you fly; they're quite dehydrating.

It's been a while since I've been on a long flight. Hmm...well I'm kind of surprised long lasting foundation wasn't mentioned. And agree with a PP, the blotting sheets, or TP or tissue is a must! In case of oilies hours later. Everything else mentioned are great tips.

I carry a spritzer with cucumber water or an Evian atomizer. It's incredibly refreshing, it hydrates and wakes you up at the same time. I would travel to asia every few months and it really helps.
