Hi,

I am looking for some advice please. I am a bridesmaid for my best friend in a few weeks. I want the following treatments, false nails, spray tan, lash extensions.

I would like to know which is best please?

Hollywood lashes or 3D lashes?

What type/brand of spray tan?

Acrylic or gel nails?

Thank you in advance.

To be honest, I really wouldn't recommend lash extension just for one wedding. Lash extension are a bit of a commitment and are rather expensive, so if you want to amp your lashes up for the event, I recommend simple falsies.

In regards to your other questions, Tan Towel brand tanning towelettes are the best self-tanner I've come across! They provide a natural looking tan that doesn't rub off, stays on for up to a week and doesn't streak! You can find them online via their website, at ULTA stores and some other retailers. I've tried them and I thought they were great! They come in two different "shades", which would depend on if you're fair or already somewhat dark.

Gel nails are best, in my opinion. Acrylics really do a ton of damage to your natural nails. Plus, I feel gel nails look more natural.

Hope this helps!

I had gel nails done for my own wedding and they looked great but I did not do them just for the occasion. I had started a few months before and continued afterwards and in my opinion gel nails are quite a commitment too. When I finally removed them it took nearly 2 months for my nails to regain their original strenght and shine and I had very hard and healthy nails to begin with! Since then I stick with normal nail polish but I am planning to try a new long lasting manicure I have seen on some friends of mine; it is called Shellac if I am not wrong and it is from CND. It lasts 2 or 3 weeks like a gel, it is very shiny and resistant but it is applied like a normal polish, cured with UV lamp and removed like a normal poilsh (i.e. no filing or drilling on the nail). It sound like the perfect solution for an event like a wedding, I just have to get an invitation so I have an excuse to try it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
