Have you girls seen this product before?? You're supposed to wash your face with a suncreeen cleanser! I wonder if it really works?? Any one uses this?

hmm, :icon_scratch: i wonder how it works ? After washing it off ... the spf still stays on the skin ? interesting

Exactly! I can't understand how it works, but on the other hand, this product won a lot of awards...

It sounds like a gimmick to me. And I never trust awards - who knows if the companies/magazines that "award' have a personal interest in a product.

Actually I just thought of something... You know how most sunscreens nowadays are "water resistant", meaning that you can go for a quick swim after applying your sunscreen? Maybe this is why you can apply the sunscreen-cleanser, then wash it off.. And the sunscreen still stays..?? Makes sense?

not to me :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> all dermatological forums and articles i read, it says that sunscreen can only protect when it is a visible/ somewhat sticky layer on your skin.. I cannot believe cleanser would give you any reasonable protection, maybe while you cleanse :rotfl: anyway, this sound like a :bs: product to me. Thanks for showing it to us though, iteresting what companies will come up wit to make us buy their products. OMG, I just realize this one is 48$... hahaha!

Hmm I don't have any scientific basis for this; but back in my ol' brazilian beach days (not too long ago) a thin-normal layer of sunscreen was effective in preventing burning or tanning (when compared to areas where I had not applied sunscreen). Didn't need a super thick layer of sunscreen. But this is just my own voo-doo though, no science involved. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> hehe

sounds really sketchy...if spf is important to you, you should just use a cream, Better than using some gimmicky cleanser that doesn't do what it is supposed to

So basically this product just leaves a layer of film on your face, that happens to be spf? Betcha the spf was an afterthought, and its just a crappy product that never rinsed properly in the first place haha

i dont mean super thick, but thick enough to create a layer you can feel on your face when you touch it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> and when you wash off cleanser there is no layer at all, that's what I mean. (obviously there is some residue that you can see with microscope, but I wouldnt believe it would give you enough protecion)

very thin layer of sunscreen maybe prevents from getting burned, but for sure does not protect well against UVA damage which is not visible till when we are older, at least according to what I read :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

sounds strange :kopfkratz: my whole life i've told you needed to put a layer of sunscreen to be protected.

I don't know how much faith I'd place in that product especially considering the class action lawsuit involving sunscreen manufacturer's and bogus claims of levels of protection (coppertone, hawaiin tropic, and others) provided.
