Does anyone here take vitimin C supplements and if so, have you noticed an improvement in your skin's appearence? Or an improvement of things in general. I want to know if it's worth starting to take them, seeing as I don't eat enough.. oranges.. i suppose. My skin is quite bad, i'm on pills and cream, but I was wondering if taking vitimin C would also help improve things?

Thanks if you can help :]

I use to but I stopped when I ran out. I plan to get more. I read that vitamin c is good for the skin, and helps with healing specially after surgery.

Too much is no good, for woman, the max you should get is 650mg, so I usually take just 500mg and the rest I get from food and my other multi vitamin. Men should get 1000 mg. This is what I learned from research.

I do think that it would help you. There is no harm in taking it as long as you take a proper dosage.

I did feel that it helped improve my skin because since I stopped taking it, my skin hasn't really been as bright as it use to. I don't know if it is because of the vitamin C. I do take other supplements as well.

I hoped that helped

It probably doesn't matter what brand of vitamin C you buy. Just check the dosage like Summer said.
