I know not to use Vitamin C with a copper product but what about with a glycolic acid serum (15%). I just bought a vitamin C serum and the directions stated one could use the 15% glycolic serum on top of the Vitamin C. But...now I'm wondering about all this business of oxygenation. I certainly don't want to be doing any damage to my skin and of course I don't want to be wasting my money on products that are canceling each other out or anything like that. Any advice is much appreciated!!

As Kim said, you'll be fine. You're using two acids, glycolic acid and vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid). DO note that they said you could use it with a 15% glycolic serum. I would not go higher than their suggested 15% glyco because it could burn like Hades and be detrimental ... ie too much acid between the two products. Also, your vitamin C serum might be one of the synthesized C forms like magnesium ascorbate or ascorbyl palmitate.

This is what it says abut the vitamin c I use:

Our Vitamin C Serum 20 is a stable form of L-Ascorbic Acid. It is set at the optimum 20% concentration to deliver the maximum amount of vitamin to the skin. Serum 20 will help to protect your skin from UVA & UVB rays damaging effects. It will stimulate collagen production, improve skin's tone and texture, improve pigmentation issues, increase elasticity of the skin.

Have you ladies been to the skincare board fron the DY site?!? OMG! what a wealth of information!

Thank you both so much for answering my questions. There is so much to learn about all this skin remodeking stuff. I haven't been to the skin biology site yet because as it is I spend most of my morning on MUT (I don't post too often but I learn so much from everyone else's posts) I am determined to delay this aging process!!!!!!

Good idea! I am going to get that book. Thanks for letting me know about it.
