Would applying a vit c powder on the face, just be effective as a serum? TIA. :icon_smil

Hmm.. I don't know.. Could something powdery be absorbed by the skin the way a serum could?

Yes that`s why i ask, cuz of the absorbing part. But i have read that Philosophy has a vit c powder for the face and that you can mix it with a moisturizer and then apply it on the face. Does this sound ok?

Oh, I think if you mix it with your moisturiser, it would be ok. I have friends here who use pearl powder mixed with Hazeline Snow and they get the pretty much the same benefits.

OK then, but i don`t think i`m gonna buy philosophy. Cuz i was thinking of buying just vit c powder that you can take in, and instead of that using it on my face. But i don`t know if there is a difference in the philosophy one and just buying powder from store!

In my opinion there shouldbe a difference...Only derivates of ascorbic acid have the power to penetrate the skin.

Yes i think you`re right. Hmmm i think it would be hard to find the ascorbic acid powder in a normal store? Cuz the philosophy is expensieve for me. But mixed with the moisturizer, do you think that it would help to penetrate, even if it will be only a little? TIA.

Yeah, you`re right, i think i will try a cream then. I wanted to try Vivier but we don`t have it here. So instead of that i`m gonna try LRP, cuz i think that they have some good stuff! Thanks again.
