I was wondering if i could break some of this into my face cream (Nivea creme which i love) and get some vitamin A benefits. the idea just struck me when i realised that breaking vitamin E capsules was a good thing. so can anyone help?

Vitamin A is fat soluable and can build up in your system.

Too much Vitamin A can be toxic.

I assume that it will be absorbed into you skin and then to your blood stream.

My advice is to speak with your pharmacist - not someone at a health food store - and ask him/her if it is safe and if so, what dosage would be tolerable.

Also ask if the nivea would interfere with the healthy properties of the Vit A.

Yup I do this - I break open Vitamin A, C, and E gel capsules & sometimes mix them into my mositurizers.

Its a LOT cheaper this way..

I've never don this, but I probably would've if I'd thought of it. lol... Although Carolyn has a point regarding the vitamin A. Might want to ask a Dermatologist or at least a pharmacist about it before you do it.

So i crushed a couple of vitamin C pills with rose hips and I ground them to a very fine powder and mixed with my moisturizer (Currently using nivea creme). So far i am loving it. seems to be giving me a "glow" and an even complexion

I use vitamin E capsules. I read its good for scarring, its been 2 days so i still dont know if its working.

^^ I JUSt starting using Vitamin E oil as well. Only been a couple of days but so I far I love it. A little difficult to use.... but I'm working on it
