I am in my early twenties and am always concerned about my skin aging faster than normal because I am outside in the sun a lot. So I was looking for anything to prevent my skin from aging prematurely, and I came across this line of olive oil products made by Reviva Labs on their website. If you’re like me and you pay close attention to your skin and want it to look healthier as you get older, then I would suggest products with extra virgin olive oil in it.

The anti-aging products that I was using before made my skin oily, but the Antioxidant Cleansing Lotion, Bio-Fluid Daytime Moisturizer and Night Cream I found use extra virgin olive oil, which is an antioxidant, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester and Green Tea extract. The problem I was having before was that a lot of anti-aging products are made for older skin and the oils in the product are usually too rich for younger skin. I always try to eat fruits with plenty of antioxidants in it to help my skin because antioxidants defend against free-radical damage, the cause of wrinkles and fine lines. I did a little research and found out that olive oil is an effective anti-oxidant in itself, and its combination with other antioxidants makes it really effective to provide a delicate oil and moisture balance to younger skin.

I’ve had plenty of luck with Reviva’s products in the past, so when I found out about their line of olive oil products I immediately tried it and have been pleased with the results.

Has anyone else tried it or know of any other products with olive oil in it?

If your out in the sun alot and are worried about skin aging make sure you wear a sunscreen on at least spf 15! x

Haha ditto to the sunscreen suggestions =). I also adore products with extra virgin olive oil in them. I'm Italian, so my skin just loves it. L'Occitane and Perricone have a number of great products formulated around olive oil, but you know what the best one is? Plain extra virgin olive oil! It's a hell of a lot cheaper, and SO moisturizing. I use it a couple times a week as a nighttime moisturizer, and my skin looks so fresh and glowy in the morning, and it doesn't clog my pores. Give it a try one night and see if it agrees with your skin.

I don't buy products with EVOO, I just use straight up EVOO on my face with some essential oils mixed in. Loads cheaper. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Every one else has said it but I'll say it again...

Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen and more sunscreen.
