Has any one smelled this perfume? I wonder if it smells like the original angel or better? I see that he has a new one coming out also, called "alien"( picture below.). wondering about the way they smell. Thanks!

Out of the "Garden of Stars" (the collection that is based on Angel, but has a floral scent added, and there are three varieties: the "Lily Angel", the "Violet Angel", and the "Peony Angel"), I have the Lily Angel and I like it a lot. It smells like Angel, but has a very pretty floral (lily) scent mixed in. It's not as strong as Angel, but you can still smell it without spritzing like crazy. I didn't like "Violet Angel" or "Peony Angel" as much, and would repurchase "Lily Angel" before I would buy either of them.
I tried "Alien" at Saks, and it is the most atrocious smelling perfume I have smelled this year. I had them spritz it on a card and my first reaction was that it was weird, so I tucked the card into my purse and thought maybe it would smell better once it dried down. I forgot that I had it in my purse until the next day and got it out and it still smelled horrible. It is nothing like Angel, I was so disappointed. It's hard to describe, but if I were to attempt to describe it, I guess I'd say it smells like Potpourri, Windex, and Mop-n-Glow. The only thing I liked about it was the bottle color.

I would love to smell the Lily Angel. I think I will look for it when I go to the mall next time. It is my favorite flower, so I may really like the smell.

Alien is a true UFO (Unappealing Fragrant Object). It's best left in outer space.

I didn't like the Alien at all, I really loved the Angel though so the others would have to be VERY good to impress me.

Thierry Mugler has out three new scents in Violet, Peony, and Lily. All three smell like their namesake and the bottles are downright gorgeous. I haven't smelled the Alien though.
