Ever since I was young, I've had very thin eyebrow hair. The width of my eyebrows is wide, but the individual hairs are very fine. This may come from my Mom's side, as her eyebrows are similar to mine while my Dad and sister's eyebrows are normal.

I recently learned that eyebrow grooming/makeup can have a huge impact on one's face, and this is done through shaping and drawing in eyebrows. However, because my eyebrow hairs are so thin, drawing them in makes the brow-liner/eye shadow really obvious regardless of how light/dark it is, and the overall effect not so great. If I shape them before fixing this issue, I fear that my eyebrows will look too feeble.

Does anyone have tips as to how to thicken eyebrow hair? I have tried vaseline as it thickened my eyelashes, but no dice.

Try buying a small plastic travel size bottle fill it halfway with caster oil and half with coconut oil(organic/ unrefined).

I purchase a big pack of disposable mascara wands online (ebay/amazon) and I use that to put the solution on my brows and lashes every night before bed. You can also just use your fingers to put it on. It took some time but they are both for sure much fuller.

Also when you fill in your brows with brow powder/brow pencil make sure you are always using a spoolie brush afterwards. It really helps my brows look more natural in person by blending in the product.

This will also help with people with thinning hair.

*Hopefully this helps*

Trying to thicken eyebrow hair is like trying to thicken the hair on your head. Not easy. You can get more hairs to grow in but it takes a lot of time to get there. Or try thickening up each individual hair by using a mascara thickener or primer first and then a brow mascara over to thicken each hair. Or you can do the powder trick, dust powder on brows first and then a brow mascara over to thicken.

My fav trick I tell clients in the salon is to use a toothbrush and brush your brows at night for a minute like you brush your hair. More circulation means more growth.. you'll see results in about 2 weeks, and the best part is it will grow where you brush...

I've used eyebrow enhancing serums and they work for me.  Anastasia makes one and I'm currently using an eye lash growing serum (I forget the name it's at home) but I've been using it on my brows too because it says you can, and I can see a difference when I use it every night for a week straight.   Also, I stopped tweezing a long time ago.  I used to just "shape" but I don't even do that any more I just let it all go and use the serums and it's a big difference.

I take the pytho hair and mail tablets. Expensive but have seen some difference in my scanty eyebrows

I have terribly thin eyebrows, too, and I got a tip from Lisa Eldridge which is use eyebrow pens. They sound horrifying and way worse than pencil, but if you get the right kind, it can look sooo natural!

Suqqu is incredibly difficult to find and expensive, but I use a dupe - K Palette Eyebrow Liner

You have to be pretty careful to buy the correct item because the names are pretty similar, but I found mine at Sasa.com for about $15 and it has a dual-tip with a brow powder on the other end. Let me tell you it works like a charm!

I literally had the same problem, then I started using castor oil on a spoolie every night before bed and in the mornings too if I had no where to go that day.  It honestly transformed my eyebrows to the point that I never even pencil them in anymore unless I am wearing a really bold eye.  I use the castor oil by nowfoods, and you can get it on amazon!

Hope that helps :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
