Hello!
smile.gif
I have heard many good things about using Aloe Vera Gel (Such as Fruit of the Earth brand) or the actual plant to help heal acne faster & help red marks. I'm going to give this a try tonight (along with vaseline... i'm experimenting both! lol)

... has anyone else tried this?

I massaged some aloevera into my skin the other day when I was working out I dont know if it actually did anything for me.

i've tried using aloe vera on my face and it didn't really do anything for me. it didn't do anything bad though... maybe it'll work better for you, good luck !

I've used it for sunburn relief, it really soothes the skin.

Haven't used it regularly though.

Good luck and let us know how you like it!

i use it everyday but i dont do it for the reasons you listed. I use it as a moisturizer since everything else breaks my face out.

I've known about it healing wounds faster, as well as I've heard of it assisting with sunburn, but that's about it.

I used it because I heard it was good for fading dark spots, but unfortunately it did nothing but break me out..

But that's just my bad experience, it seems to work great for others...

Good luck!

I'm currently using organic aloe vera gel with Vitamins A, C and E. I haven't noticed any visible results so far, I'm having a bad breakout and my skin looks horrible so I can't really assess its effectiveness as of yet.

I'm using it (Aloe Vera Gel) every night mixed with either olive oil or avacado oil because it leaves my cheeks feeling tight; I'm not sure if dark marks/scars are fading my skin has this clearer, brighter look about it so i guess it could be working.

As far as i know, aloe vera gel is recommended 4 burns, sunburns, dandruff, pimples, nappy rash, itching, insect bites, frostbite, scratches, bruises, muscle aches n joint aches.it's also a good after shave n a soothin gel after hair removal.a very good make up artist i know once told a friend of mine who's suffering from pimple marks/scars 2 use it as many times as required during d day.bt i'm sorry 2 say i don't know what d result is yet.hope this helps.

by d way,pls do stop using vaseline! as far as i know,it wud defintly NOT help heal acne or their marks.in fact it wud lead 2 breakouts! it only protects minor burns n cuts n prevents skin from chappin.

It calms a lot of redness, I don't know about completely fading red marks though.
