Uses for Cocoa Butter?

My hands, legs, lips.. basically every inch of my skin on my body has been soo chapped and scaley lately ... I recently tried using Sublime Instant Tan stuff by L'oreal and had such a bad allergic reaction to it .. i had dry little bumps alll over my body and face for a week .. so now i'm basically terrified to try anything new .. i bought a stick of pure cocoa butter tonight ..

is it safe to use that on lips?

where else can i use a pure stick of cocoa butter.. NOT the lotion?

Yeah it would be fine to use on your lips as a lipbalm or you could use it on your cuticles.

I use the stick for my lips and any other body part. But if you have dogs becareful, my dog smelt it in my purse and actually ate my entire stick!!

Yes you can use it as lip balm on its own. You can shave a bit off and throw it in the bath to soften your skin. or take the whole lot in the bath, let it melt a bit and rub it over skin.

I LOVE cocoa butter.

i was reading on a website a homemade recipe based on cocoa butter, lol, it's actually the base of your lipbalm.
