How many of you are as "crazy" over Ulta as I am????? It's like my mothership

I got my rewards points this past weekend and for a level 12, I got Philosophy perfume, a cute hairbrush and Baked Eyeshadow. Some say that customer service there is horrible but honestly, it's not the company itself, its the individual stores. I've been to multiple locations here in Illinois and I've never gotten anything but A+ service.

Ulta, in my opinion, has more variety than Sephora hands down. Also, at Sephora, the salesladies follow me around everywhere which only makes me want to leave the store.

How do you feel????

i am a sephora girl honestly, and ulta has something going for it in which they sell both professional products and drugstore products, i like ulta too sometimes.

I wish I had an Ulta nearby. I think the advantage of Ulta over Sephora is that they sell high end brands but also offer coupons and discounts more frequently than Sephora does.

I've always gotten really good service at Ulta. I've definitely encountered the sales girls at Sephora following me around like I'm a criminal which is a little irritating. I like both stores a lot. Ulta does have really good sales, but they don't have NARS, Illamasqua, Kat von D and other brands that Sephora does.

I pretty much only stick with the prestige cosmetics (Urban Decay, Too Faced, Benefit, Smashbox etc). The main reason I prefer Ulta is because I can also get all my bath products, hair products (Redken), hair stylers (Instyler), brushes, candles, perfumes, moisturizers (Mario Badescu) and Philosophy. Its one stop shopping for this girl : )

I'm a grown woman (39) with a wallet willing to spend. Follow me around like Im a criminal and yes, I will walk out wallet intact.

Ulta is my favorite. I could speed hours in Ulta, they have the best deals and super fun! There custom service is awesome.

Sephora is to expensive...

Hands down ULTA!

Hands down ULTA!

I spend hours there at least once a week.........there's SO much to explore, it's never ending!!!!!

I have never had bad service in Ulta. I have never had bad service in Sephora, however I like to order sephora online, which is better for me.

I have Sephora and Ulta in the same mall. Love it. Too bad Sephora is a smaller version. It's part of JC Penny. Best of both worlds, I guess.

But I agree with the discounts and drugstores brands which makes me want to roam around Ulta more.

I've never been to an Ulta before, just Sephora. Y'all are making me want to drive down to the one that's about 20 minutes from my house!

My Sephora is inside of JCPenny too. It's tiny, doesn't have a big selection, high priced, and the girls follow me around. I just stopped looking in there even when I had to stop for something else at Penny's

If you do go inside.......BE CAREFUL! It's HIGHLY addictive and your wallet will definitely feel it. I literally go thru withdrawals when I haven't been to Ulta for more than 2 weeks. It has EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Give us the scoop on all the goodies you got when you get back!

I like Ulta! Since I don't have a Sephora nearby Ulta is like my sephora. As for the customer service I think that they could be better.

Ive heard stories about their customer service too, however, I've never had anything but awesome service. I could shop for hours (I in fact did that on Friday night while my daughter had her hair colored in their salon) and never get bored. It gives me a chance to get caught up on their sales (FYI.....NYX jumbo pencils are buy 2 get one free right now)

I had a total breakdown when I moved away from my newly built Ulta in my hometown. We just got a sephora if you would call it that, in a jcpennys? Lame. I miss my Ulta for sure but I miss regular sephora too, I have to travel an hour for them, I really need to move closer to civilization.

My first trip to Ulta is planned for tomorrow! So so so excited!!! My hubby is gonna be mad with the bill. I can tell already.

Ha ha. I've learned DON'T take him with you. It's bad for morale!

Enjoy your trip. I like them both, but for different things.

Service at Ulta has always been awesome, but I can't live without my Nars, YSL, and Dior makeup. So I need both in my life!!
