Hey I have a question for you girls. And this is perfect because you are girls
smile.gif
and will answer truthfully. I recently stopped using a creme and primer
frown.gif
I know it sucks. My pores are awful.. So i used a primer and a creme foundation to cover that up... Anyways because of my recent breakout I have stopped, and today went and bought some Mineral makeup... Physicians formula. I got the lightest shade.. Anyways the stuff looks absolutely great on me. Covers well, looks natural. But the only thing is I cant use my primer under it because it doesnt go with a powder well at all. So of corse you know what that means!!! I swear you know when people say oooh stand 3 feet back and you cant even notice them pffff!!! Standing 40 feet back and you could notice them.. Well ok they arent that bad... But bad enough to really bother me...

So my question is, because I am not going to stop wearing this makeup, I like it too much annd who cares about my pores. Do you guys notice like big pores on guys and is that a turnoff???? I asked all the girls on acne.org and they all said no no not noticable at all and its not a turnoff, but I mean its an acne site heh of corse they will say that. SO be honest with me. If that is the case damn going back to the creme and primer!!!

Sorry for the big long message, but had to reall ask some clever girls

Quite honestly, I've never paid attention to pores on guys! LOL! I couldn't even tell you what "kind" of pores my husband has!

I have become absolutely paranoid with skin and notice every little imperfection on me... Other people I study hard but it doesnt bother me at all. Its just the way I am now....its terrible lol, I cant focuse on the beauty of the face anymore. Always looking for little flaws.

Personally the only pores that I ever notice are my own. That goes along with the fact that as a human being I notice a lot of my own imperfections before I ever notice any one else's. I say stick with the Physician's formula, noticeable pores or not, because it sounds like it really does work for you.

untill recently i never notice pores untill i started noticeing mine and the only time i notice some one else is if there huge annd thats only recently cause im a addict now with skin care and makeup but the best thing for your pores is to exfoliate at least three times a week to get every thing out the more clogge they are the bigger they get i have been useing biore pore pergeing exfoliater and mac micro refinisher and they have been tighting up less noticeable almay has a pore minimizer cream for like $6:00 its not gressy at all and clinique has one too and there are positive reviews on that everyone said it works remember make up and creams can clogg pores makeing them larger and cause break outs so focus more on your cleaning/exfoliateing regimene and try the clinique pore minimizer under your makeup and back to your question no i dont notice other peoples pores or other flaws as much as i notice my own

I agree, I only notice my own and like Aquilah I couldn't say what kind my husband of almost 12 years has! Dont worry, its all good.

sometimes the more stuff you put on the more noticeable they become. i say stick with the pf until your skin clears up and then see if you even still need the other products. i don't expect a man to have flawless skin, just healthy and clean.

The funny thing is that women are very competetive so we notice things about ourselves and each other that we don't notice on guys. The only thing I can say is maybe you can use that Monistat product as a primer. I have really sensitive skin and I tried it w/my mmu and it worked. Why can't you use you primer w/this particular mu? Does it not work together?

Does it not work together? What do you mean when you say monistat???And this Primer I use is called Lise Watier and it just doesnt go with a powder at all!!! Once applied, and then if you use a powder over top it all jut flakes off, its really gross... I have no idea why it does that. It goes great with a creme for the most part, but as soon as you touch a powder it it, just disgusting.. Are all primers like that??? I want a good one that goes with a powder!!

The Monistat refered to is the Anti Chafing Gel..that goes on and dries quickly to a powder/silicon feel..not really sure how that would go with powder foundation ..since I don't use it.

Oooooh... I dont know if I want to use that... I would be scarred of a breakout and im sure it wouldnt go get with a powder. It would be more like the lise watier primer. Is it a pretty thick gel?

i notice pores. but not as a turnoff to me. my BF had blackheads on his nose, so i liked to squeeze them out and put facial on him. but he never wants me to put facial on him, so i always do it when he is lying in bed, lazy and cant do anything about it.

It's called Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder Gel by Monistat. I actually got the tip from someone here @ MuT. You'll find it at any drug store in the feminie hygiene isle. I tried that Lise Watier one and didn't like it very much. For when you are able to buy it you should really try Per-fekt Beauty. You can get samples of it on the site Perfektbeauty.com click on the contact and fill in the blanks ask them to send you samples. Good Luck!!

BTW, I know we all notice our own imperfections a lot more than anyone else ever will! I'm very guilty of this!
