I applied ACV on my face with a cotton ball after cleansing. It immediately gave a burning feeling on the spots where I had pimples, or where the pimple is healing. I then applied my usual moistuizer and spot treatment for acne. My face then turned red and I had a burning hot feeling on my face for the next 10min. Is this normal?Am I doing something wrong in the way I apply ACV?

The bottle of ACV says it is diluted with water...and says that it has 5% acid in it. I didn't dilute it any further with water...I used it straight from the bottle.

you may want to dilute it 60/40 or 50/50 acv to water. it does burn so you have to let your skin adjust to it and then you will eventually be able to use 100% acv. that's what i did.:icon_chee

When I used ACV toner, my face turned red and stayed red for hours. I haven't used it since and am afraid to. My skin has been acting up lately and the last thing I need is more redness and/or zits. I diluted it 50/50 and I wouldn't characterize my skin as sensitive by any means.
