Ortho tricyclen will also help with those zits too. Please note that topical products will not do much with cystic zits.
Now for the routine. According to Dr Baumann's book, you have the DSNT (dry, sensitive, nonpigmented, and tight) skin type. (You didn't say much about wrinkles so I'm assuming 'tight.'
Some good cleansers she recommends for you:
Dove senstive nonfoam cleanser
Neutrogena Sensitive skin solutions (good stuff)
Murad moisture rich cleanser
You should never use alcohol on your face, use
Facial waters instad. Like:
L'occitane's
La Roche Posay Thermal Spring water
You have dry/combination skin like me, and I learned that using "oil free" products don't necessarily keep acne (especically big ones) under control. My facialist once said I break out in my chin and cheeks due to DRYNESS. My personal favorite moisturizer is
Estee Lauder's Verite for Sensitive Skin. Guess what, it has vaseline in it and my skin got much better with it
It does cost $50, but I think it's just that good
Moisturizers:
Aveeno ultra calming creme
Atopalm MLE face creme
Dove Sensitive Essentials.
