Too much?

i'm using vaseline as a moisturiser, dove beauty bar, moisturizer mixed with a few drops of glycerin, asprin mask etc etc, the list goes on and on..

almost all stuff recommended by you lovey muters i do.

everyday, i use a different moisturizer.. is it all too much? to use different product everyday?

my skin is relatively clear tho... im just worried that i may put too much stress on my skin....

now... i can go on forever, plus all those makeup...

anyone?

I don't think it's bad, per se. Except alot of products suggest using them for several weeks to get the maximum benefit, which you won't probably get if you're switching products all the time. Know what I mean? However, if your skin seems to be fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

IMO I think that you could be using too many products.

My dermatologist has reccommended the following:

a) Gentle cleanser like Cetaphil

B) Exfoliate once a week - mix tsp of baking soda with cetaphil to make a paste

c) Only moisturize if you feel that your skin is dry - light film of Vaseline is fine

d) I use Retin A daily for acne control and to help ward off wrinkles.

e) I also use a topical prescription medication if a pimple shows up.

If you don't have acne or you are aren't concerned with aging, don't bother with d or e.

And finally, make sure you use sunblock or sunscreen everyday.

You might be able to find a decent moisturizer with sunscreen - Neutrogena

i just cant resist new products

and i dont like to stick to one routin its a curse

I read somewhere where someone was saying she used like 3 diff shampoos a week & 4-5 diff conditioners cuz if you use the same products everyday your hair can build up resistant to it. - - - I am not sure if its the same for skin care bc your face is a lot more sensative - but if your face is fine then I wouldnt worry.

I use 2 different moisturizers & 2 different cleansers & swap every other day with them.

Just curious.. how many moisturizers do u have!?! What diff ones do u use each day? (Sorry if I am being snoopy I am just interested

hm.. i have like 6 moisturizers and 15plus cleansers

tjose that i use depends on how my skin is reacting that day.. cause on some days, it's a little oily, sometimes it's a little oilier and sometimes, it's normal...
i customize my facial mask and moisturizers daily
