so i'm trying a couple things to hopefully bring my skin back to good condition. ever since i tried Proactiv, my skin has been heinous. I washed off all of my makeup with my Oil of Olay Daily Facials, and i just applied a Honey&Baking Soda Mask, which i read about on here. I tried it on a pimple-infested area last night and they had dried up this morning. I'm hoping it will now help my face. My skin is oily as well, do you think i should apply the vaseline tonight?

HELLPP

I don't recommend Vaseline- it will clog your pores big time. Use an oilfree moisturizer

i tried it the other night, and it wasn't too clogging. it actually made my skin really soft and nice the next morning, since i only applied a thin layer.

Yea I would get a good moisturizer meant for the face instead of vaseline, they can do wonders!

Personally I say if you dont need a moisturizer dont use one at all... But thats just my oppinion. I made a thread like this once and if all that stuff helps then use it, but if you are seeing a breakout starting to happen stop using some of the products you dont think you need.

IMO, Vaseline works great for those with dry skin, but if you have oily and acne prone I won't recommend it because it has a tendency to clog pores. I've tried Vaseline for at least 3 days and the next days, I found it clogged a few of my pores. I too find it smooth for my skin after using it at night but, I think it only sealed/wrap your skin so it made our skin feel smooth after using it.

Anyway, if you like it and it work for your skin, then why not using it as your skincare regimen. Personally I won't use it for face because I need an anti aging properties for my night cream.

i would say only use a moisteriser if u have to, and make sure its oil free
