Toner? Olay?

I got me some Olay Daily Facials, Hydrate & cleanse, and Toner. I've never used a toner before as well as i've never used olay before either. What does a toner do for your skin? I also got some total effect 7X moisturizer. Anyone use Olay, and what is a toner for? Thanks!

a toner gets extra residue off your skin, shrinks your pores, and removes debris that your cleanser didn't get to.

it also evens out your skin tone over a period of time, or it's supposed to. ;x

I got a big bottle of it at my local Sam's Club for $27.00 I've been using it for a few days and so far I love it. I also started using MMU. I have Rosacea and i'm wanting to try to take care of my skin. My face is very smooth now, did the total Effects make yours smooth too?
