To anyone who has grown out their brows and knows a thing or two about it.

I have bare patches where no hair wants to grow because of my screwing my brows up when I was younger. Well i've been trying to get them back for years now, it's a long struggle. Anyways my question is:

I have one hair growing straight up in that patch of bareness. Do I pluck it or let it stay? I used brow gel and it wont go down, it's sticking RIGHT up. Looks rather stupid. If I pluck it, it wont be encouraging more growth, correct? I think i've had this same problem in the past (in the SAME spot) and my solution was plucking. If I don't pluck, will it eventually flatten out and not stick right up? It looks god awful, but I only have very few hairs in that spot and they take forever to grow there! Help. What do you think, pluck or not?

Part of me says pluck it, but only because I've done it too. However, if it does eventually lay flat, then maybe keep it... That is a tough call...

I'd just trim it to a point where it can't stick up. Just be careful not to trim any other hairs and I think it should be fine.

I'd say trim it too, if you pluck it, it will take even longer to grow, or it might not grow at all again.

I think I agree with trimming it, or letting it grow longer. I would try to avoid plucking it, but I know it will be hard not to, lol

Yeah I would trim it so it isn't so noticeable. Personally I usually just trim the hairs that stick straight out.

let it grow out. you've been waiting forever for some hair to grow in that area, and the period of time you'll have this one random hair is a lot less than having to wait for that hair and other hairs to come back.

it flattened.!! just thought i'd update you all.

and it made a big difference to that area, haha. yay.

its really funny how different peoples hair grow. My eyebrows grow sooo fast and sooo thick, i seriously have to get them waxed every 2 weeks. Its a real pain in the butt especially when your friends start noticing too when I skip a few appointments!! But I'm glad you got yours to stay flat, eyebrow hair can be a real pain sometimes!
