Tiny red dots on body

Ive been on Protopic for abt 10 dayz now (for my eczema).It works well on reducing the redness and the ithciness of my eczema.Few days back, i noticed few red tiny dots scattered on my arms and body.It luks more like a cherry tiny mole but I never had these before. I noticed 2 more appeared from nowhere on my thighs.I got panicked and quickly consulted my derm.He told me its the age spots and its very common.I was sceptical it it might flare he said yes, but only in dot size.According to him, some will fall off and some will remain and its harmless.If its really bothering, it can be removed by laser.Has anyone had this problem?

No, but I have had laser treatments done to remove sunspots/freckles. If you are thinking of having it done I can tell you what it is like.

Yeap my derm said those tiny red dots are so common, more like age spots and yes it'll be in red color.Scientifically it is called cherry angio.Its similar to moles and totally harmless, and its certainly not caused by the medication Im on for eczema.Lolz i thought these dots had just appeared, when I browsed my old pics of 3-4 yrs back, I already had these dots then!!!!lolzzz!!!! sometimes if u're thinking too much, everything seems to be new for u...huh...me such a vainpot...

Woo. Glad you didn't have to go through that laser thing. Maybe its some sort of side effect. Certain topically applied products sometimes produce scaling that can be easily washed.

I have a question.. before one or two years, i spotted a little white spots on my back, exatlly around the sholders... can you tell me what it is ?
