I bought this eyelash dye/tint today because it was super cheap and I kinda always wanted to have this done. in the instruction manual it said is should be used with those pads you stick under your lower lid to not get any dye on the skin. but I guess you´d have to buy those seperately and the store didn´t have them

so has anyone ever done this to themselves? Is there anything I should be careful with? or should I play it safe and ask a friend to do it? I kinda wanna try it myself tonight to see how it looks

I would ask a friend or someone to help you with it. Better be safe! Let us know how it goes.

I'd try it on my own, just taking precautions and being ultra-careful. I don't know that getting help from a friend would be that, umm, helpful. Is it something like putting mascara on? I can only imagine it being awkward, unless the friend is a pro at it. I don't know about you, but I suck at putting on mascara and liner on other girls - they're on their own with that. And I hate having other people put mascara on me! I get scared they're gonna slip and poke me in the eye or something.

Overall, if you think it's safe enough to do on your own, I'd do it.

I didn't even know there was something to tint the eyelash with!

Anyway, be very careful! No beauty product is more important than your eyes!

Do post a before-after pic like your Avon peel pic!

ok yeah I´ll ask a friend to help me out. and I´ll take before and after pics so yall can see the difference. I can´t wait to try it out!!!

i died them a couple of times and my eyebrows. its not very hard. you only have to watch out that the dye doesnt come into your eye. and the white thing you can use a couple of times if they are still clean, its only for protecting your skin when you accendantly put some dye on your skin

You could use some cotton rounds,( they should be wet) that what we used in class, and also put a moisterizer around the eye area, on the lid and under the lid just in case dye gets on there you can wipe it off. Its not hard to do it yourself, however if you get a friend to do it they can get closer to the lash line and if you can get real close to the lash line you can create an eyeliner effect which is really nice.

hmmm, i would leave it to the pros unless you have very steady hands. we wouldn't want you to go blind!

^ That's what I think too... I'd be affraid to do it myself.

I hope everything goes nicely and be careful !

I would be too afraid to do something like that myself. I'm already half blind as it is.

Be VERY careful! I wanna see some pics!

yeah I´ll post pics as soon as my friend has time to come over and tint my lashes for me.

hmm....I'm thinking of how great your eyes look to have your lashes tinted. I can't wait to see pictures.

definitely be careful, but you heard that enough in this thread lol

like someone else said, i could NEVER do this on my own! lash tinting is actually illegal in some states here and very dangerous. i forgot where i read it or else i'd pull it up right now.

can't wait to see pics if you go along with it!

oh, and i'm gonna move this over to the body forum. anything having to do with brows, lashes (except mascara, of course), etc. go in there. i hope that's okay
