Thoughts on Dermalogica and Boscia products?

I used to get facials at my local Ulta, and they use Dermalogica products. I bought the Microfoliant and the oil control lotion.  These were recommended because of my pores and oily skin.  I used both of these products religiously.  The Microloliant is really nice and leaves your skin very smooth and soft. No difference in the way my face looks, but it does leave it very soft. The oil control lotion is fine, but I still have not managed to find the Holy Grail of products that will take away the oily, shiny film my face develops mid-day...everyday.  I would say if you want to try them out to get a try-me kit.  I know Ulta sells them.  Also, Ulta has the micro-treaments now (which are cheaper) and they use Dermalogica for those treatments, too.  As for Boscia, I've been interested in their Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel and the Luminizing Black Mask.  I haven't tried them, but I would like to.  I hope this helps!

I haven't tried loads of either line's products, but I did really like Dermalogica's Ultra Calming cleanser. It was so gentle. And I love Boscia's scrub. It's what I'm currently exfoliating with. It's not full of harmful chemicals like most scrubs on the market.

I've only tried Dermalogica's products and wasn't impressed by them, personally. I went for a microdermabrasion treatment and the salon gave me enough samples of at least 4 or 5 of their products to last me 3 weeks! They did nothing for my skin. The ingredients weren't particularly impressive either, especially not for that price. I got better results using just the Cellex C serum they gave me over a period of 2 weeks. That alone did make a difference, although still wasn't worth buying. Ended up making my own vitamin c serum which also functions as a treatment mask and it works just as well, if not better.

I've used Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream and Gentle Cream Exfoliant. They are real nice.
