Reality TV star from Housewives of New York City and creator of SkinnyGirl Margarita, Bethenny Frankel, is working on her own skin care line. The new line is debuting in November, just in time for the Holiday season. The line will be sold at select Walmart locations to start and will later on be released to the masses. Bethenny developed the line with Lotta Luv, a beauty company known for their lip balms. The line is named Skinnygirl Face and Body Solutions and will consist of 30 products including a line called SkinnyGirl Mommy. The Face & Body Solutions collection includes a plethora of problem-solution products, including but not limited to Shimmer Plumping Lip Gloss (lip), Detox Face Mask (face), Gradual Tanning Body Shimmer (body) and Cooling Foot Spray (mommy).

“Skin care can be confusing and I want to be straightforward,” she said.

Straightforward is Frankel trademark as she’s opened up her life to the world on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York City” and then on her spin-offs, “Bethenny Getting Married?” and “Bethenny Ever After.” Frankel hopes to beginning filming the third season “Bethenny Ever After” later this summer.

"I don’t want people to think in three days they’ll have no cellulite. That’s not going to happen.”

She attributes her clear skin — which on this summer day was bronzed to perfection — to “consistency.” Frankel said, “I finally have good skin because I am consistent. I don’t worry about brands. I do buy brands that are not expensive, ones that don’t spend all the money on the packaging but on the ingredients inside.”

Personally I'm not a fan of hers, I know she has fans who would buy anything she slaps her name on but a skincare line? When she sold Skinnygirl didn't she lose the rights to the name and logo? I'm skeptical of her cosmetics line... seems like she's jumping on Ramona's gravy train on that one. It just seems weird to me.

Aw I love Bethenny. I never have, nor ever will, buy a product just because of a celebrity endorsement. But I doubt she would want to be affiliated with any products that are sub-par. I'll be interested to read more about the line when it's launched.

She seems to be doing the same as other Housewives including Gretchen from the Housewives of OC with her handbag and cosmetics line. I'm not sure which Housewife started putting their name on products first. Maybe Bethenny was one of the first ones with her margarita line.

I know this is going to sound harsh but i can't take beauty advice from her. My gf met her last year and was in shock to how unhealthy and bony scary she is in person and she doesn't have great skin so why would i ever use her products when we skin has aged so poorly?

Speaking of Gretchen's line, anyone know if she's still using Lady Burd as her manufacturer? Ramona Singer, of RHoNY fame, also has a cosmetic line which she sells on QVC or HSN (can't recall which). No idea who makes her products though.

I'm not a fan either, Bethenny's skin looks malnourished.  She claims to be a healthy cook/chef but I've often thought she had an eating disorder due to her dry, lifeless skin. Certainly not someone I'd purchase skincare from, she looks closer to 50 than 40.

I don't know if Gretchen is even getting more stock in right now since she's getting sued my the lady she started her cosmetics line with.
