I`m sure that those of you who have a sensitive skin , know pretty well how difficult it is to find the "right product" that won`t be overdrying or overirritating but mild, soothing and reducing redness.

What I`m suggesting to you, ladies with a sensitive skin, (also maybe with acne proned skin, because we are talking here of the products that help to reduce irritation and redness) is to name your most favorite products for the sensitive skin care (just, please, only those that really work for you)

I`ll be the first, I guess. My four "winners" are:

1)YSL`s gommage exfoliator-- its texture is honey-like, it doesn`t contain any crystals or granules and therefore perfectly answers the needs of a sensitive skin (actually it suits to any skin type). After washing it off, the skin looks so soft and pure--just like baby`s :eusa_whistle: ;

2)Stendhal`s Bio-Rosis anti-redness creme. This "baby" (which contains 30g) really makes miracles. You just apply a thin layer of it on the cleaned face (before the moisturizer and everything else that you use in your sc routine) just put it targetly, on the areas that tend to become redish (on a nose, cheecks etc..) and vu a lia!-- the redness practically dissapears. Instead of using some green consealers that neutralize the redness of the skin you have a product that not only conceals but effectively heals your skin!

3) the third one, I guess, is well known by many--its Avenue thermal water--soothing, anti-irritating and finally refreshing formula that I always carry in my bag (just in case).

4) jojoba oil--I use it either as a serum (before the moisturizer) or by its own at evening mainly. This oil is also well known for its soothing anti-redness effect.

That`s it more or less,

Hope to hear about your ways of dealing with sensitive skin`s problems.

I agree!! I just switched to this, and my skin has been great.

For me jojoba oil actually irritated my skin, so I have been using vaseline right before I go to bed and I wake up with even toned, moisturized skin. Good Stuff

mmm..."cetaphil"? Sorry, I`m not sure what are you referring to. What is it exactly?

As for jojoba oil, I don`t know, I quess it`s all very individual, but my sensitive skin`s reaction to it was very comfortable and soothing from the very first application (and I`ve been use it for about several years already). In fact, in winter, it`s my n1 product--it virtually saves me from seborhea and some other breakouts of the skin caused by cold weather. But, still, I may give a try to vaseline as well (Actually, I remember from my childhood in Belarus, some people were putting it on their face and hands before going out just to avoid the frost-bitteness and so on)

I really like Dermalogica's Barrier Repair. It feels like, the second I put it on, my face calms down. I also really like Biotherm's sensitive skin line, especially the spray toner (which is like the Avene) and the dry skin moisturizing cream.
