The Body Bakery - Dessert Inspired . . . Skin Desired . . . â„¢

So i'm pretty much addicted to body scrubs/polishes and souffles/butters. I've seen a few products from these companies around YT and on blogs and was wondering if you guys found them overrated.

Anyone have any experience with these companies and their products? How about those scrubs and butters?

The whipped scrubs from Heavenly Naturals look SO AMAZING as well as the whipped soap and shaving creams </3 ;_;.

Well if you're into natural stuff, i'd honestly pass on the scrubs from Heavenly naturals, simply because it seems to rely on the same base : glycerin/water/sugar cane/coconut oil, then add fragrances and colorants. The sugar is from your kitchen cupboard, the water can be tap, glycerin can be left aside if you don't have some (i think it mostly is in there for spreadability), and coconut oil can be replaced by another oil from your kitchen (olive, sunflower). Fragrance and colorant can be from your kitchen as well, or you could buy an essential oil such as lavender, ylang ylang or rosemary, and it would last you a long time.

Also i think for the quantity you get and the price it's sold, even if say you had to buy some sugar and a bottle of essential oil, you'd still have more ingredients than the quantity they sell you.

Same goes for the whipped butters, although it may require more time and tools. But i'd say go for it if you like a particular scent, i would just make sure i wouldn't get bored of it (especially from the body bakery) and it wouldn't conflict with my perfume.
