Has anyone ever tried taking a shower then immediately braiding your hair into a French braid, sleep with it and the next morning it will look like natural waves. I really like it has anyone tried this?

I did this to my step-daughter the night before picture day.  It came out soooo beautiful!  She has really long brown hair and it came out looking like it was "crimped".  I have to tell you, it's one of my favorite pictures of her

Not since I was much younger and had lots more hair!  But I do think it's really cute.

My friend and I do it all the time. it's a great way to add some waves to your hair without heat.

I used to do this when my hair was much longer. The key is to not make the braid too tight, otherwise you have scary waves. If its loose, it usually comes out really nice. its a great shortcut to wavy hair if you have to work at 6am

I try to do it very often as I have long hair and it is more convenient for me. When you are working, long hair should not bother you.

When I was younger I've done this a lot. Now I do it to my daughter, but her hair is sooo thick and straight and holds just an hour.

It's like a free spiral perm!! I will have to try it I love the spiral perm but hate when it starts to loose it's hold!! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I do that every day! However, I dont braid my hair. It turns my natural curl into an unnatural afro.

I twist it loosely and wrap it in a bun. This makes my hair into gorgeous loose curls.

I do it, but because my hair is insanley curly (i like my natural hair but its too short and don't like it natural at this length) i leave it in a towl, blowdry slightly and make it more straight, then put it in the plaits :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> and it comes out alright :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
