I've been under massive amounts of stress lately and I haven't been eating right or drinking enough fluids and my skin started freaking out because of it...It became drier than ever and started breaking out on my cheeks. I stayed at a friends' house for a couple days and I didn't have my usual skincare products with me...all I had was my Dr Bronners liquid Tea Tree soap, I normally use that in the shower. I used it on my face along with my friend's Dessert Essence Tea Tree cleansing pads and my Ozonated Olive Oil as a moisturizer and POOF no more dryness and my breakouts are completely gone!!!:clap

I recommended the Dr Bronner's and the Dessert Essence to one of the girl's I did makeup for a couple days ago, she's super oily and she has really bad acne all over her face and she came back saying she noticed a difference after only a couple days.

Just thought I'd put it out there for y'all.

Oh that's great Envy!

Tea Tree is my savior too for monthly occasional pimples! I'm using acne barrier tea tree oil as a spot treatment, just use one drop of it and the blemish/pimple usually gets better by the next morning and no more redness skin.

I use tea tree oil as a spot treatment for zits too, or if my face is really freaking out, I mix a few drops with water and apply all over. Works like a charm! I've never tried Dr. Bronner's though!

BTW, Dessert Essence makes a great lip balm (I actually thought it was DESERT Essence-bad name in that case right? lol). I just mentioned it in another thread.

Envi--what is ozonated olive oil? Is this a brand or special type of oo? How is it different from regular oo?

My best friend used to use pure australian tea tree oil for her bad breakouts. It was amazing. I watched as her faced cleared right up with regular use. :icon_smil

My bad...it is Desert Essence. LOL!

The olive oil is aerated with oxygen and it kinda solidifies it...I'm not sure if there are different brands, I get mine off one site...but they do sell ozonaters so you can do it yourself with plain extra virgin olive oil

Glad it worked for ya! I bathe with tea tree oil soap and use it on my face occasionally. I have a tea tree oil antiseptic that I use as a toner and a tea tree oil/lavender oil I use as a spot treatment when needed.

That's cool. I'm a big fan of tea tree. I use LUSH Tea Tree Water toner twice daily and use tea tree oil neat on spots. It's amazing stuff because it doesn't cause redness and irritation yet it's highly antibacterial. I've stuck with a very simple skincare regime for quite a while now and I find that works for me best (not too many products, nothing too harsh or medicated, using gentle effective natural products).

I use their lip balm! I use Lip Rescue with Shea Butter. Clarins will always be my HG but I use Lip Rescue a lot underneath lipstick and when I'm out and about. It's not waxy like a lot of cheaper stick balms and it's just the right texture to wear underneath lipstick.
