has anyone tried tea tree oil for skin care?

has any one tried the body shops line for tea tree oil?

if you have, it'd be great if you could share your thoughts on it.

thanks

I use it for acne, but not the body shops kind. I love it, but it stinks really bad!

yeah i hate the smell and the texture of it. however, it works well for small blemishes. another thing, i usually mix it with aloe vera and rub it into a small blemish. after that..i put a glob of it on the blemish and go to bed.

Tea tree oil is supposed to be really good for acne and I have alot of friends who use the body shop's and r satisfied :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

yeah, i use tea tree oil on pimples too. it seems to dry them up overnight. and i agree that the smell is really strong, but i dont' mind it all that much.

I have a tea tree oil facial wash that I use. I got it from Trader Joe's. It works pretty darn well, and I actually happen to love the smell of the facial wash. Is 100% all natural, and it has a fresh smell to it, almost like chopped wood. I like it alot.

In high school I used a few items from the Body Shop tea tree oil line. Maybe it was just my skin, or they've reformulated it since then, but at the time I found them to be very drying and they didn't really help with my acne. Everything works differently for people though, so give it a try.

Neat tea tree on the occasional spot is great and really helps take out the redness, although I don't find it effective diluted in facial washes etc for acne or spots and wouldn't reccomend TBS line purely as it didn't work and made my skin worse

Do you have a Superdrug? They have an incredibly cheap tea tree line that can be bought alone or with wtich hazel or grapefruit which works better and if you don't get on with it, you haven't lost anything. Boots also do a similar range
