I'm looking for a good syrum, moisturizer ect that I can put on that will take the redness away from my face. I am always on the slightly rosey side and I have no clue why? Even if I am not tanning at all I still have a reddish tone.

Are you rosy all the time, or does it increase after exposure to products and touching? Sometimes rosiness can be caused by AHA products as well as vitamin C treatments. Maybe try using a simple, non-treatment routine for two weeks and see if the rosiness subsides? Or scale back AHA usage to every other day or every 2nd day. That is, if you're using that type of product. :icon_smil

I've never even thought of NOT using products for a week or 2 to see if the color subsides! Thats actually a really good idea! And no I don't think I'm using anything with AHA or Vitamin C.. that I know of? *runs to check labels*

I have this redness on my face since I was very little!! And because I'm very sensitive to the sun, the redness went bigger with the years!

Ya, I've had the redness for years as well, thats why foundation is so important for me! Its helps disguise the color. You use foundation as well right?

I don't wear foundation very often, but it's the only thing that cover my redness!! In fact I'm looking one good foundation this season!

Oh ya! Foundation covers everything! You would not even know you had a trace of redness underneath. Is your neck red as well? If not it would blend so nicely!

I have most of the redness in my T-Zone :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I have been using Olay Regenerist Daily Syrum and it does help a little although I'm still reddish!

yeah AHA's tend to cause redness...i remember you mentioned you were using DDF 10% glycolic? are you using any other type of AHA in conjunction? anyhow...have you tried witch hazel? i use it as a toner and it helps me with the redness and its all natural :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

No actually my neck is pale whit, and that's why I have problems everytime I wear fndt, the diference is big!

I have "pink undertones" too. I don't have irritated skin and most products that advertise for getting rid of the red are for irritated skin. You could try a green based primer when you're wearing foundation or see a dermatologist... if it's really red in patches you may have rosacea (sp?). OHIP should cover derm visits if you get a referral from your regular doctor.

Geeze yes I am using the glycolic toner-- could that be whats causing it? I use witch hazel a few times a week over my entire face but I don't use it regularily. I'll try to use it more frequently and see if it helps--thanks :icon_smil
