I just read an article about a fanastic moisturizer. A dermatologist reccomended people with dry flaky skin use safflower oil! It is high in linolic acid witch keeps skin moisturized. Many high end moisturizers have linolic acid in them. Too bad I just bought several body moisturizers last week. I may just return them and go find the safflower oil (right next to the olive oil)..

LoL.........I guess we read the same article & I was about to post the link. The Secret to Perfect Summer Legs - Beauty Eats on Yahoo! Food I'm happy that we finally have a cheap and successful alternative to high end pricey moisturizers. My hubby suffers with severly dry itchy skin and I can't wait for him to walk through the door so I can share this with him. For a more pleasant experience I would add a few drops in my regular moisturizer and then apply to the skin.

yay, it's great we have such a cheap alternative. i never think about moisturising my face with oils, i'm always crazy about controlling my oiliness, so i'll only use tea tree oil. but for the rest of my body, oil is the winner.

Wow, interesting article. I would have never thought to use this. Thanks for passing along!

Thanks for the info. I never thought of using oils on my face until I joined mut. But they work great!

i guess im old fashioned and freak out at the idea of using oil on your face, but will it make you break out? i have acne and am on some medications that have made my skin pretty dry..im thinking of mixing it in with my daily moisturizer to make a more intensive night moisturizer..any thoughts?
