Can anyone recommend me a good sunscreen?

Oil-free please. I have very sensitive skin.

I've been trying neutrogena sheer block. Its okay, but I was just wondering if there was any better?

I was thinking of either sheishido or oil of olay (but the "oil" in the oil olay scares me).

I have and like Eucerin Extra Protective lotion SPF 30. It is nice and light, and Eucerin is good for sensitive skins.

Eucerin and Cetaphil are the ones to trust. I use Cetaphil's spf 15 daily moisturizer and it is the best. I have tried Eucerin, but I didn't like the feel of it on, and it smelled too much like sunscreen.

Also, Cetaphil is the only one with a stable sunscreen I think. Which means it doesn't have any ingredients that will break down the SPF in it over time. And yes, companies really do put ingredients in suncreen that BREAK DOWN sunscreen...

wow.. something i have learn today, neat. living in the tropics sun all year round, i still so lazy to wear sunscreen .. bad bad bad!

coz the moisturiser with spf is usually oily.

I use and second this. This feels very light underneath makeup, has zinc oxide and doesn't irritate the skin. But, another suggestion you might want to check out is Purpose's New Redness Reducing Moisturizer SPF 30. I've read some pretty good reviews about this one too.

I suggest either the Cetaphil SPF 15 Lotion ( don't let the "15" dissuay you, it's got better protection than the Neutrogena) or the Shiseido SPF 55 Lotion - this one is good if you are very oily.

I have very fair skin that burns through most sunscreens, the best I've found is Loreal's sunscreen. It's quite greasy though :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Nivea makes good oil free sunscreens.

i used to put on Eucerin moisturizer, the one with SPF 30 and i really liked it, it's for sensitive skin also.

i am going to try the cetaphil moisturizer cuz a lot of people have raved about it but i remember when i bought and tried the cleanser, i didn't think much of it but i am going to try the moisturizer anyhow.

You mean just for the face, right? I have the oil of olay myself (it comes in a sensitive version, sometimes their products sting my skin, my skin is sensitive like yours). But I recently got Aveeno face lotion sunscreen, I like it better, it doesnt have oil in it either.

Have you tried Neutrogena's Oil Free Sunblock Lotion SPF 45? I like it much better than the sheer block--it's far more hydrating, but not the slightest bit greasy--I think it's extremely good. Cetaphil is really good too.

Avobenzone. Don't buy a sunscreen with this ingredient in it...

You want to look for a sunscreen with either Titanium Dioxide or Zinc Oxide in them. These will not break down and offer the best UV protection.

interesting... why you think so? from what I heard, avobenzone is one of the best sunscreens when it comes to UVA protection. However, it works best when it is associated with Octocrylene (from what I found out - correct me if Im wrong, please!). but I am not sure, I am confused now...

I will look for more articles later. Although, from what I read titanium dioxide and zinc oxide don't give as good protection as mexoryl...
