I need some advise girls! I am going on my honeymoon at the beginnning of August. We are taking a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean. The one thing that concerns me is the hot sun of the Caribbean! I burn very very easily! I never used to burn but within the last year I have been put on medicines that no matter what I burn! I can be outside sitting in the sun and my skin starts to turn red within 15 minutes! So as you can tell I am just a little concerned! I dont want to fry the first day of our honeymoon and then be miserable the rest of the time! But, I hate the way sunscreen feels! I hate how it makes you feel all greasy and not to mention how your hands feel afterwards. So I was thinking about getting one of the new spray on ones but my mom told me that they did not work. They used it in Florida a couple of months ago and burned! So what do you girls think? Has anyone tried the spray on one's and had good luck with them? Any tips or tricks? Any other suggestions?

I also want something that is easy to apply. I will be having to put it on non-stop probably so I want it to be fast and easy!

Thanks so much!

i would powder myself with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide!!!

i would use my trusty LRP anthelios sunscreen, if you hate the sticky feeling (i don't like it either), try the "fluide extrême". it's milky, absorbed easily and non comedogenic. they have until spf 50 i think. they also have a lip sunblock(spf50), i'm currently using it, it's great (but makes your lips a bit white).

you have also clarins and avène, both are great brands.

think also about protecting your hair !! wear a hat, and also invest in a hair sunscreen. i bought one from René Furterer, and it's great. it's milky so it won't make your hair greasy, and it leaves your hair very soft.

I also love Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch. I use the SPF 55 one. It's not greasy and gives good protection. But be sure to reapply every 2 hours or less when your out in the sun for a long time.

Well if you can, go for a good European sunscreen which you can purchase online.

Bioderma SPF 50+ is awesome, I think it's difficult to burn with it on!

Are you looking for a water-resistant one?

Oh yes! I definately want one that is water/sweat proof and long lasting!

Bioderma is a great brand, though i haven't tested their sunscreens myself. it's a french brand and apparently unavailable in the us, unless maybe on ebay?

anyway, if you can try the brand, do it.
