Sun tan

Just curious... how long does it take for a tan-able person(not tanned right now but can sit in the sun for hours and nothing happens) to get a tan? I'm tryin to get a tan and i can only tan on saturdays and sundays ... i wanna get a tan asap how long should i sit in the sun for?

It depends... you don't want to burn either - especially if you don't have a base. And where are you tanning?? Home, Beach, indoor, outdoor? :icon_wink

Tanning by the pool...in December. You must be in Florida! :icon_chee When I tanned, I would get the darkest by laying on a silver raft in the pool. If you have *any* time in the weekday, just sit outside as often as possible. Sun exposure is cumulative, so every bit helps. I used to use sun accelerators but I don't recall if they did much other than soften and stain my skin.

it depends on exactly how dark u wanna get and how quickly. if you need like same day results you could always go get a spray tan and your local tanning salon but if you have a few weeks to spare look like you're on the right track.. just sit outside as much as possible.

what do you mean by using olive oil? the olive oil used to cook stuff? im supposed to apply that on my face? :icon_conf

and as for "how" dark... brown-ish (light brown)
