Hi!

I am going in to have my hair cut tomorrow and I am not sure what to do with it. I would like something different, but I'm not sure what. I don't want to cut my hair off all the way. I have had it short (ear length) at various times in the past. Its cute but not what I'd like now. I'd be willing to cut it shorter though or alot more layered, grow bangs out, or possibly even dye it or high/low light it. Really I just don't have a clue about what would look good or bad.

I'd like to keep it natural looking. I have lowlighted once in the past and liked it, but other than that I have never colored it. My hair is pretty curly. If I don't do anything to it, it has natural curl. Its heavy because it is long so its not super curly.

I would appreciate any suggestions for what would look good with my hair: color, cut, style, products, tools, etc!

The first two pics are day old straightening. Some curl has come back. Last is pretty natural curl. Bad pics, but I don't have a whole lot with hair down.

Your hair is really pretty! Kudos for keeping it natural, I am sure my hair just loves me for all the color.

Anyhow, when you have your hair short, does it curl easier as with the long hair the hair is heavier and weighing it down? Because I would think that affects the cut. How are you planning to wear it? Do you have time to style it (streighten it for example) every day or  would you wnat to be able to just leave the house as is? Do you want to be able to take your hair up? I am asking because that is exactly what I tell my stylist now when she cuts my hair. I always need something where I do need only 10 minutes of styling tops in the morning and she always works out something great.

I really don't have alot of time for styling it... but I'd like it to look better than in normally does. Generally it ends up in a bun or ponytail.

When it is shorter it does allow the curls to be bouncier. The top two are when I've spent about 30 min straightening it. I'd rather not straighten it all the time, but I guess I could. Right now I have so much hair, it takes longer than that.

Thanks for the tips. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I think a shoulderlength would look gorgeous on you and if you like you r curls it might be relatively easy to styly, such as for example Emma Stone's hair:

I know that's the wrong color but I thonk with that length you can still wear a pony tail and straighten it if you want to but your currls probably come out more. At the same time, if you wnate dto you can still decide to go a bit shorter where as with short hair youwill have to wait for it to grow to have it longer again :)

great, looking forward to see how you will get it styled! Also, welcome to MUT. Feel free to browse around :)
