We just had a leaflet through the door from someone advertising all hair types of hair removal by sugaring. I've read up on how it's done but can anyone tell me if it's painful of effective and how long your hair needs to?

I'm thinking about getting something done for this summer instead of shaving all the time because i find i need to moisturise my legs loads, i don't think shaving helps

it will hurt, but it only lasts for a minute or so. i've used the sugaring method and the traditional wax. i got the same results for both. its what you prefer.

your hair should be at least 1/4 of an inch long. no longer than an inch max.

(any longer and it gets to be a real hairy(ha ha-no pun intended) problem

hope this helps you:)

I don't think sugaring my legs is painful at all. You just have to do it at the right time of the month (about a week after you start your period).

how does it make a difference what part of your cycle you're at?

i think i might try it for summer tho

thanks lul

about a week before your period (when you PMS) and during your period your body is more sensitive and tender (especially breasts and our va-jay-jays). That's why most mammograms are scheduled 7-10 days after you start your period. Also, our shifting hormones can affect the pain regulation area of the brain.

I've heard that sugaring is more sticky, but it's taken off easily with hot/warm water versus wax, which is harder to get off no matter what you use.
