Stupid stupid skin...

so its getting warmer and its near my period too (how lovely) so my face is really getting oily and really acne prone. so ive been using masks and stuff to clear it up. well its clearing up but my skin is just dull looking. just blah. i hate it.

so my question is: what can i use to brighten my face up that wont make me break out.

have you tried exfoliating and then maybe for a product rec clean and clear brightening moisturizer? that might help

the only advice i can give is to see a dermatologist.

Lactic or glycolic peel is good for getting rid of the "blahs" so is epidermx

Or you can find something with vit C or kojic acid.

Use the product at night and remember to always wear sunscreen when you go outside

peels would be beneficial. and/or microdermabrasion. beware of skin brighteners though:they make sure skin a bit sensitive to the sun.

I totally 2nd the peels!!! the glycolic peel I´ve been using has made my face look so much better. microdermabrasion didn´t really do much for brightening my skintone but it´s still essential for other things.

oh and I personally didn´t like the clean and clear morning glow moisturizer, it had tiny glitter particles and didn´t really make my face glow

Drink a lot of water and wear a brightening moisturizer. Or maybe take vit C everyday!

I just tried a sample of another MD. Someone on the ebay board suggested it. It's VERY similar to the epidermx, ingredients almost identical, and it feels the same I think. I'm going to try epidermx on one side and this stuff on the other side today and see if there's a difference. Sample was pretty reasonable if you wanted to try it tho. I paid around $4 with shipping.

I just looked at her auctions, no samples listed at this moment but I bet a person could email her and ask. No store but her ebay id is shiloh0305and if you search for spa grade microdermabrasion you will find it.
