What is the best appliance to give straight hair more volume. I don't want curly really, just some volume and maybe a little curl under at the bottom. I bought a straight iron that has a curve in it. Any info on it and how it works. I just got it tonight. I don't know exactly how to use it yet. Any other suggestions.

Personally, I use a ceramic/ionic blolwdryer (the CHI Rocket) and a round ceramic barreled brush. I get straight hair and my angles & layers can be curled in. If you want to use the iron, when you get approx. 4 inches from the end, wrap the hair around it as you would a curling iron, and it should give you some bend. I'm not sure which one you have, but the T3 and the Maxiglide have combs on top that are heated so that you can curl with it. Just be careful not to burn yourself, cause those suckers get HOT! lol
