okay i bought this product today and im wondering.

Can i use it for the body too?

and how many times a week im supposed to use it.

I couldn't see why not (use it for the body). i have it too!

Usually depending on your skin type you are suppose to exfoliate anywhere from 1-4 times a week. If you have normal I would suggest twice. That is for the face. For the body I think once a week should be okay!

Good luck

I liked using this before, but I read about how it creates micro-tears in your skin because of it's rough almond shells that aren't rounded. The reviews on it from Makeup Alley scared me enough to stop using it. I have dry skin and usually exfoliate once a week. I reccomend mixing honey, sugar/baking soda and (optional) almond oil. That's good for dry skin as the honey and almond oil moisturizes, and the honey also lifts the impurities. After exfoliating, I like leaving the mask on for awhile to let the honey's antibacterial properties to work. HTH!

Edit: I forgot to add that I use honey as a base, enough sugar/baking soda so that it won't get absorbed by the honey. Pour less almond oil if you're using it. You can also replace almond oil with something like sesame seed or olive oil. Play around with it!

I use this scrub for my face. Although I don't usually use it for body, I have and it's ok. I personally exfoliate my body skin about twice a week and my facial skin two to three times a week. My facial skin tends to get flaky since it's dry so I try to keep on top of exfoliation which is why I exfoliate my face more often than my body. I've been looking for a new exfoliator for my face actually. This one is ok, but I know there has to be something else out there that can do more for my skin than this product.

Yes!! You can use it for your body and face!! I love this stuff. As for how often you should exfoliate, I guess that depends on your skin. I exfoliate quite often.

i like this stuff too, although i've never tried it on my body.

PopModePrincess: If you are looking for an even better face exfoliator i'd suggest Dr. Brandt's MIAJ--its great and you only need to do it 1-2x a week.

I mostly use this for my body only about 3 times a week, to harsh to use on face more then once a week, and I love it as a body scrub! I buy it in the large tub for just this use.

i like this scrub and use it on my body to, but it swtiched to bosica facial polish and i like it more then this ( i dont use this on my body)

I like this stuff, I use it on my face and body. I want to try something a little more gentler on my face though, but for now 1 or 2x a week on the face does the trick.

I exfoliate only twice a week only, my skin gets itchy when I do more than that. I haven't tried that face exfoliator yet, but I've heard good reviews about it.

I think twice a week is enough but I used it on my face and I think it is a tad harsh. For the body it is probably fine. You can make your own scrubs with a little Olive oil and any of these..sugar, baking soda and even your used coffee grounds. For the body you can use all the above as well as salt!

I have used this for my face and it worked okay. Prefer it for my body. I like my MD Formulations cleanser (I leave it on) or baking soda. I have used the Loreal Refinish kit and it was so so and much prefer Life brand(Shopper's) microdermabrasion kit.

I used to use St. Ives Scrubers to exfoliate with, but now I just stick with Pro Activ Cleanser because you can exfoliate with that too. I use that every morning and night, and I love how it has my skin feeling afterwards.

Seems like I always come back to this. I use it on my body too, but I also like to use a pinch or two of baking soda in my cleanser as an exfoliating. Seems to be mild yet effective.
